The nineties are back!
Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails are coheadlining a U.S. tour this summer. It's a bit of an odd match-up, especially because Trent Reznor has insulted Chris Cornell for working with Timbaland and admitted that he had some bitterness over the fact that Superunknown beat The Downward Spiral for number 1 when they both came out the same day in 1994. Nevertheless, it seems these feelings are in the past, and Chris Cornell has stated that Soundgarden is "really open" to collaborating with NIN on tour. I can personally attest to the fact that Soundgarden is still great live, and I have heard that Nine Inch Nails puts on a fantastic show, so I am definitely going to try to attend one of the concerts. The pair will play 23 shows across North America with the band Death Grips as the opener.
