The Ithaca City Schol District Board of Education considers budget increase.
In Ithaca, the City School District Board of Education is looking to increase their 2013-2014 budget to $113.7 million. This is about a 2% increase over the current budget of $111 million. The result of this budget change would mean higher taxes, with the tax rate increasing by 6.9% and the tax levy by 8.87%.
