Plays, Fringe Fest and Shopping in Ithaca this week!
Tonight at 8pm begins a series of riveting artistic events commencing with Ithaca College’s performance of “The Crucible” in Hoerner Theater. This classic work by Arthur Miller takes the audience back in time to the Salem witch trials and is certainly not an event to miss. Additionally, Thursday marks Ithaca’s Fringe Fest with the mouthful title “Warriors and Other Victims Or 32 Words in 65 Minutes Give or Take a Few of Each Some of Them Perhaps Unspoken” yes that is the title and this wonderful event takes begins at 7:30pm in the Center Ithaca. This festival showcases works of five playwrights, three of which are local. Tickets can be purchased online at ithacafringe.com. And finally, if you are looking to decompress and do some shopping, you should head over to the Ithaca Mall this Friday through Sunday for the mall-wide 28th Annual Sertoma Antique Show.
