Preparations for Slope Day are well underway and Cornell University has announced some road closures and temporary TCAT bus rote changes, effective from tomorrow until Saturday. Tomorrow, West Avenue between Campus Road and University Avenue will be closed from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Also, on Friday Campus Road will be closed between College Avenue and Stewart Avenue from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. It is also recommended to try and avoid Campus Road on Slope Day and to use Hoy Road as an exit from the campus. The 83 TCAT bus route will not run on this Friday and will be detoured tomorrow from Stewart Avenue to East Avenue , stopping at Goldwin Smith, and then continuing on its normal route.
