Whew, almost everyone dodged a bullet with Xavier pulling out that win over Georgia. I have to hand it to the Dawgs, they've showed alot of heart in the last week

Ben, I will admit it is a very risky pick, but I have an allegiance to the Big Ten. I picked Wisc to go to the Final 4 last year (you keep comparing the two years). To me, picking your brackets is not based on indepth analysis and taking hours to choose who the winner is. Picking your bracket is based on gut feeling, because on any given day, any on of the top 12 seeds in each bracket has the potential to beat anyone else. Would I consider this a good pick? Yes: they won the Big Ten, and the Big Ten has had a strong showing in previous recent tournaments. Would I say this is the best pick? No: Obviously the best picks are the number one seeds in each bracket, but I have a gut feeling Wisconsin will do well.

Somebody please explain to me why Wisconsin is a good pick. PLEASE! They won the Big 10 tournament and still got a 3 seed for a reason. Their defensive style is all good and great in the big 10, but they're not going to be able to stop Kansas. Any of these teams basically has to score 70 points and Wisconsin loses. I know they beat 2 seeded Texas by one point, but they also lost to Duke by 24. Last year they were a better team and lost to 7th seeded UNLV. I just don't see the attraction here.

Overall, you picked "safely," which last year would have been a good strategy. I agree 100% on Wisconsin, and our final two are identical as well. But Memphis ducks out early in my bracket, Pitt doesn't get beat in the first round (I expect them to go far), and WVU topples Arizona, who didn't deserve to make this tournament anyway. I like your upset picks of Siena and Temple. Overall, not too shabby, but I expect to beat you in the office pool. ;)

I think you're giving Wisconsin WAY too much credit... as well as Arizona. I personally had Joe Alexander and the Mountaineers defeating 14 loss Arizona and Wisky losing to Georgetown. I know Georgetown didn't look particularly impressive against Wisconsin, but to me, Wisconsin is just a less talented version of last years team. And we saw what happened to last years team...
