HS balla not even giving senior year in high school a shot
Despite this blogger thinking highly of Asher Roth, his hit song "I Love College" is not sending a message to today's youth. High school junior Jeremy Tyler will not be returning to school for his senior year, meaning that he probably will never get a chance to "pass out at three, wake up at ten, go out to eat, do it all again." While he has yet to decide what country he will play for (Spain, Israel, and Italy are in the running), it seems apparent that he will be the first pick in the 2011 draft when he is eligible.
My question is simply what is he thinking???? He isn't poor; his father owns a store and is going to open another. He'll make millions once he goes pro. What's the rush?
I remember last year a high school senior decided to play in Europe instead of going to college. He was so much younger than the other players that he ended up getting benched and instead of moving to the NBA, I don't even remember his name.
Jeremy Tyler: make like Alex Tyler and go to school and play college ball!
