President
Daryn Mehling
Daryn has been a DJ at WVBR since freshman year and has been involved in the Guild through several different roles. Throughout her junior year, Daryn was the Music Director at WVBR and the A&R Director at Electric Buffalo Records.
Having experience in artist management, marketing, and event production, Daryn is eager to utilize her skills as President, overseeing the three subsidiaries of Cornell Media Guild. She is really excited to continue to build this great community at Cornell.
Outside of CMG, Daryn is a senior in ILR pursuing minors in Business, Law & Society, and Information Science. She enjoys going to live shows, hanging out with friends, and learning how to DJ.
WVBR General Manager
Jerry Sheng
Jerry Sheng is a sophomore studying Biology & Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences. After serving as Corporate Secretary from 2023-2024, Jerry transitioned to GM while being co-host of WVBR's specialty sports show, Big Red Banter. This summer, he worked as a summer research intern studying rare variant association analysis at the National Institutes of Health. He is an avid Washington Commanders fan, loves watching football, and enjoys listening to EDM and classical music.

Becca Jeffries
Becca is a sophomore studying Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Energy Systems. She began DJing at CMG her freshman year, and joined the executive board in the spring. She is excited to utilize her technical background to improve the functioning of WVBR. She is very passionate about applying electrical engineering principles to advance renewable energy and address climate change. Outside of CMG, Becca enjoys rowing, climbing, and crocheting!

Susan Hickey
Susan is a junior in the College of Human Ecology, majoring in Human Development and minoring in Health Policy and Gerontology. She hopes to go into the Health Administration field to increase access and equity in health care. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and practicing with her band SPIT!. The band is what originally got her involved in CMG and she came to love the passionate group that makes the radio possible. As corporate secretary, she hopes to help foster a growing community in the Ithaca area that's connected by music!
News Director
Jack Donnellan
Jack is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Cornell University interested in law, research, and education hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Jack joined WVBR's news department in the fall of his first semester at Cornell, and has been here ever since! As News Director, he produces and hosts "Talk of The Town" and “Second Takes,” our innovative, flagship talk news shows, assigning and editing stories written by the reporting team. He also oversees the daily operation of the news department, including the publication of a podcast, written news and editorial content. Matthew Manno
Matthew Manno is a sophomore in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences studying Communication. With a background in sportscasting, he hopes to connect COMM theory to become a better broadcaster. As Sports Director of WVBR, he revived the fan favorite show Big Red Banter alongside GM Jerry Sheng, and introduced the first ever NFL Draft Day Special, and has accumulated over thirty hours of broadcast experience in his first year at the station. Outside of the guild, Matthew has broadcasted softball for ESPN+ and Big Red Sports Network, worked with the Student Television Network, Nike Indoor Nationals, and also works as a graphic designer for BRSN and designed jerseys for a local softball league back in his home on Long Island.
Electric Buffalo Records President
Maya Behl
Maya is an incoming senior majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations, with minors in business and music. She joined EBR in her sophomore year, serving as the Marketing Director, and also served as the VP of Marketing at Cornell Marketing Consulting. This summer, she worked in the Amazon Global Marketing division at Shure Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of microphones and audio electronics. Maya is also a singer-songwriter and the lead vocalist in an alternative rock band. She met her bandmates while studying abroad in London, where they performed locally and are currently working on an album.

Maura Beatty
Maura is a junior in CALS majoring in Environment and Sustainability with a concentration in Environmental Policy and Governance. She is a research assistant studying municipal climate policy with the New York Climate Smart Communities program, a member of Cornell University Sustainable Design’s
Waste Management team, and plays club field hockey. Maura is the DJ Training and Recruitment Director at CMG, and likes to play a mix of folk/rock inspired indie music on her own radio show. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, photography, writing, and playing drums with her band!
