Adult Summer Reading Book Discussion Group at TCPL

ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library will host a Summer Reading Book Club Discussion, Thursday, August 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Library’s Tompkins Trust Company Study Room. In keeping with the 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories,” TCPL will offer a book club discussion of C.S. Lewis’s Out of the Silent Planet, the first title in his Space Trilogy. If there is enough interest, book discussions of the second and third titles of the trilogy, Perelandra and That Hideous Strength, may also be offered. To reserve a book and a space in the discussion group, contact Joyce at jwheatley@tcpl.org. To learn more about programming at TCPL, call 607 272-4557, ext, 260. This program is part of TCPL’s 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories.
