[ELMIRA, NY] – On Wednesday, April 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Dusty Hewit of Long Run Communications will help business owners and professionals understand strategies for communicating during a time of crisis. The webinar is part of the Chemung Chamber’s Educational Series sponsored by Chemung Canal Trust Company.

The swift spread of COVID-19 and the associated changes to each individual’s personal and professional lives are good reminders of how important communication is in a time of crisis. Whether dealing with a classic PR catastrophe or a sudden, fundamental shift in business practices brought about by a global pandemic, some basic communications rules apply. Participants will learn how to organize the swirl of messages, mobilize teams, and make people feel great about their brand through seriously tough times.

With almost 20 years of experience in communications supporting hospitals/health care, economic development, education, and more, Dusty Hewit knows where teams often fall short is in the area of discipline. Hewit says, “I started Long Run Communications because I believe that a blend of skills, experience, and discipline is the best roadmap to success.”
