  • Ithaca Health Alliance/ Ithaca Free Clinic is closed today.  There are no walk in hours today.

  • The meeting of the Complete Census Count Committee of the Tompkins County Legislature, scheduled for Monday, December 2nd, at 9:00 a.m., has been CANCELLED

  • The special meeting of the Budget, Capital, and Personnel Committee of the Tompkins County Legislature, scheduled for today, December 2nd, 5:00 p.m., has been CANCELLED due to weather.

  • The Museum of the Earth and Cayuga Nature Center will be closed on Monday, December 2019. They will be back open as usual Thursday 10 am – 5 pm.

Opening late Monday:

Brooktondale food pantry is open Monday night from 5-7 at the former fire hall on Valley Road.


Casella is closed. Trash and recycling pickup schedule will be delayed one day this week.


Cornell University has canceled classes for Monday and is CLOSED for 24 hours beginning at midnight Sunday night.. Residence halls remain open and students are encouraged to limit their outdoor exposure times. Many Cornell Dining eateries are closed. See what's open at now.dining.cornell.edu. Personnel responsible for providing essential services should report to work per their department’s instructions.

  • VIA CornellALERT: Cornell’s Ithaca and AgriTech campuses will reopen at 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, December 3. University operations, classes and activities will resume as scheduled. Personnel responsible for providing essential services should continue to report to work per their department’s instructions.

  • For students and staff who have not yet returned to Ithaca, please plan your travel back to campus carefully. Students who are unable to attend class on Tuesday due to weather-related travel delays should notify their professors immediately. Faculty are aware that flexibility may be necessary.

Binghamton University has canceled classes for Monday, December 2nd. Residence halls are reopening Saturday at 3pm.


No classes at Ithaca College on Monday. Terrace Dining Hall is open 9am-1pm Sunday in addition to scheduled evening hours.


Classes canceled at SUNY Cortland on Monday.'


Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) will be closed Monday at all locations.


Wells College is closed Monday and all classes are canceled.


Syracuse University has canceled classes. Only essential personnel should report.


SUNY Broome is closed and all offices are closed. Ice Center remains open.


Odd-even parking is in effect in the City of Ithaca until further notice. Park on the odd numbered side of the street from 7pm on odd-numbered days until 6am the next day, or on the even side of the street from 7pm on even-numbered days until 6am the next day.


Remember to clear all the snow off your car, especially all lights and windows, and turn on your lights when driving in bad weather.
