A 33-year-old California woman is dead after a bus heading from Ithaca to New York City crashed along Interstate 380 in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, according to WNEP. We understand the bus was being operated by Big Red Bullet as part of their regular service. Big Red Bullet has not responded to an inquiry Monday morning.
"Cornell University has learned that one of our alumni, Rebecca Blanco, MBA ’17, lost her life in the tragic Sunday night bus accident in Northern Pennsylvania," according to a statement from Cornell vice president for university relations Joel Malina.
Cornell's statement adds:
