Updated: Jul 27, 2019

TCPL and ReUse Partner to Offer a Shadow Box Workshop

ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library is pleased to partner with Finger Lakes ReUse to offer a workshop in creating shadow boxes, Thursday, July 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Library’s Makerspace.

Local curator and artist Maude Rith will lead this creative adventure into shadow boxes using materials donated by Finger Lakes ReUse. Participants can build their own 3-dimensional box, after gleaning inspiration from the art exhibit “Infinity in a Box,” on display at TCPL starting July 5.

Space is limited for this free program, and registration is required. Register online at https://www.tcpl.org/events/shadow-boxes-maude-and-reuse.

This program is part of TCPL’s 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories.” To learn more, visit https://www.tcpl.org/adult-summer-reading-2019.
