Encore Players donate $2500 to TCFA

Writer: WVBR NewsWVBR News

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the cast, crew and directors, the Encore Players presentation of "DARK Hearts; A Villains Cabaret" was a tremendous success. The show enjoyed two sold out nights at the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts on February 14 and 15. Now Encore Players has announced a donation of $2500 to TCFA from the proceeds of the performances.

At the wrap up meeting on Monday March 2, Encore Players Board President Alice Ploss and show Co-Director Danny Trippett, along with board members Bev Hancox, Barbara Melvin, and Anne and Bill Bialke presented TCFA Board President George Cook (not pictured) and Managing Director Mark Costa with the check. "Trumansburg is fortunate to have such a talented and generous theatre group. We are deeply grateful for their support and look forward to our next collaboration with Encore Players." said Director Mark Costa. The donation will be used to upgrade the TCFA auditorium, improving the space for patrons and performers for many years to come.
