Learn Poster Design with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign at TCPL

ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library is pleased to offer a workshop in poster design using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign Thursday, August 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Library’s Digital Lab. Graphic designer Annie Aldag will lead this fun workshop. Participants will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop by making an event poster (image will be provided). Topics will include basic photo editing and using Adobe InDesign to work with compositions and fonts. Additionally, basic kerning and The Rule of Thirds will be discussed. Participants are expected to be experienced with using the basic tools of the Mac operating system X; using a keyboard and mouse; and accessing, importing, and saving files.
