Recovery effort under way after report of body in water

Cornell University says Cornell Police “joined with the Ithaca Police and Fire Departments in a search of Fall Creek after the report of a body in the water” at about 1:30 on Friday afternoon. Chief of Police Pete Tyler of the Ithaca Police Department confirms IPD officers are on the scene.


A recovery effort is ongoing, according to a statement from Cornell spokesperson John Carberry, and the victim has not been identified.
