The Ithaca Housing Authority and the Ithaca Police Department have partnered to host the 36th Annual National Night Out block party on Tuesday, August 6 at Conway Park on Cascadilla Street from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.
This is an opportunity for the community to come together and generate support for anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. And to send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The community is welcome to join us for free food, DJ music, face painting a fire truck for the kids to explore, and much more.
This event couldn’t happen without the support of many generous local merchants who support this event by donations of food and door prizes.
Several human service agencies will be there with information about their essential programs.
