Upper stretch of East State Street reopening Wednesday

The stretch of East State Street from Mitchell Street to Cornell Street, which closed in mid May for gas main work, will reopen on Wednesday, August 1st, according to the City of Ithaca. The road was originally slated to reopen “approximately July 7,” and a delay in starting the project changed the end date to “approximately July 14.”
